At St Oswald’s we ensure that the children are taught the necessary skills both discretely and within other curriculum subjects. We encourage the children to communicate ideas and information in a variety of forms, where appropriate and use equipment and computer software to enhance their learning. We have wireless internet throughout the school. The Computing Curriculum can be found following the link below.

We take the increasing concerns of Online Safety very seriously and follow our Online Safety curriculum throughout each year group. this is a progressive curriculum, we have based it around the information on the  SWGfL Our Internet Safety Policy can be found below as can the links to the curriculum. We have also ensured that all the information in the DFE document ‘Teaching online safety in school’ June 2019 is reflected in our current practice.
