At St Oswald’s our aim is to engage our KS2 children with the opportunity to develop speaking and listening skills to another language: Spanish.   We concentrate on developing their enjoyment of another language through songs, rhymes, actions, games and listening, speaking, reading and writing opportunities. We use the Primary Languages Network to facilitate our teaching. This enables the children to hear a Spanish Speaker as apart of the lesson

Mrs Wood is the Curriculum Lead for Modern Foreign Languages.

Throughout KS2 we build upon their progression of Spanish vocabulary, grammatical and conversational skills in order to prepare them for QEGS and the wider world.
