Personal, Social, Health Education is integral to our school. " Pupils are well-prepared for the next stages of learning and life. They learn to keep themselves and others safe in personal, social, health and economic education lessons. They experience the rich diversity of the world through the books they share", OFSTED June 2024.

We compliment our curriculum by developing our children’s understanding of Character and the principals of Character Education.

Mental Health and Wellbeing
Children and Adult’s Mental Health and well-being is extremely important to all members of staff at St Oswald’s Primary School.
Mrs Wood is trained in leading Mental Health and well-being to other schools. She also plays an active role in promoting the mental health and well-being of staff and children in school.
