Religious Education
R.E. holds a special place in the curriculum at St Oswald’s C.E Primary School as it allows our children to think about the ‘big questions’ in life. Our R.E. curriculum is based upon the locally agreed syllabus. Mr Wood is the subject Lead for this subject.
The RE Statement of entitlement:
During their time at St Oswald’s, our children explore:
- Christianity, using the Church of England’s ‘Understanding Christianity‘ materials.
- Hinduism during Key Stage 1
- Islam during Key Stage 2
- Sikhism during Key Stage 2
